Position Summary: The Polisher will be responsible for excellence in polishing all cases, bracelets, and buckles to as near new condition as possible. The role will be required to follow proper Breitling protocols to polish and clean customer, warranty, and stock timepieces. This position demands highly skilled manual dexterity and attention to detail, with strong knowledge of steel and precious metals, their properties, and finishing techniques. The successful polisher will also be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
Location: Wilton, CT
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform complete polishing and cleaning of all cases, bracelets, and buckles in accordance with Breitling’s polishing standards for customer, warranty, and stock watches.
- Handle all watches, accessories, and any other parts with care and attention to detail.
- Work independently to conduct quality control over polishing work and meet your productivity targets to ensure excellence in Breitling’s product and customer satisfaction.
- Gain thorough understanding of Breitling’s general reference system.
- Operate your workflow through Breitling’s computer system and according to company procedure to meet demand and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Monitor equipment to ensure safety and optimum performance, reporting any requirements to your manager.
- Communicate regularly with the workshop and After Sales Service department to ensure best level of service.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- A high school diploma is preferred, or the equivalent coursework in a related specialized field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the fine jewelry industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel and precious metals, their properties and basic finishing techniques.
- Understanding of retail and/or the fine jewelry industry.
- Experience polishing stock watches is preferred.

- Compensation varies based on experience level
