The Events & Client Development Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering Breitling Oceania’s client engagement strategy through events, brand experiences and partnership activations that strengthen client relationships, elevate brand positioning and drive commercial performance. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role leads the planning and execution of VIP and boutique experiences, product launches, partnership activations and internal events across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with the Managing Director, Commercial Director, Boutique Managers, Global Marketing, CRM and external partners to ensure every activation reflects Breitling’s global brand standards while delivering exceptional client experiences and measurable business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, creative and commercially minded, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, confidently prioritize competing demands, work autonomously and maintain a high standard of execution across multiple activations.

Your contribution:

  • You will develop and execute the annual Oceania events and client development strategy, aligned with commercial objectives.
  • You will translate Breitling’s brand identity and luxury positioning into impactful events, experiences and activations.
  • You will lead the planning and delivery of boutique events, product launches, VIP experiences, corporate events and client activations across Australia and New Zealand.
  • You will manage the full event lifecycle, from concept, budgeting and production through to execution and post-event reporting.
  • You will partner with Boutique, Commercial, Marketing and CRM teams to drive client engagement, acquisition, retention and sales.
  • You will develop targeted clienteling, invitation and guest-list strategies, leveraging CRM insights to maximise engagement and commercial impact.
  • You will lead the execution and localisation of key global and local partnerships across Oceania.
  • You will manage external agencies, suppliers, venues and production partners, ensuring seamless delivery and strong brand standards.
  • You will manage event and activation budgets, negotiate with partners and suppliers, and ensure efficient use of resources and strong ROI.
  • You will establish KPIs and report on event performance, including attendance, sales, client acquisition, CRM engagement and ROI.
  • You will use performance insights and best practices to continuously improve future events, activations and client experiences.
  • You will build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities, company policies and global brand standards.

You will fit perfectly into our team if:  

  • You will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury events, experiential marketing, client development or brand activation, ideally within luxury, premium retail, hospitality, automotive, fashion, sport or lifestyle sectors.
  • You will have proven experience delivering VIP events, premium client experiences, product launches, corporate events and partnership activations.
  • You will have strong client development and CRM experience, with the ability to leverage client insights to drive engagement and commercial outcomes.
  • You will have a strong understanding of event performance and ROI, with the ability to measure and communicate commercial impact.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritising competing demands and working autonomously.
  • You will have strong organisational, planning and budget management skills, including experience managing agencies, suppliers, venues and production partners.
  • You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior executives, partners and VIP clients.
  • You will be willing to travel across Australia and New Zealand and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
