Join our vibrant team in La Chaux-de-Fonds as Operations Industry 4.0 Intern for 6 months and be part of something extraordinary! 

 

You will contribute to develop and implement a structured experimental approach to identify and analyze the root causes of production stoppages, aiming to improve overall production continuity. You will standardize and harmonize performance and availability metrics across the three production floors of our Movement Production department, ensuring consistent data collection and analysis to optimize operational efficiency. Your goal will be to implement predictive maintenance strategies using IoT and predictive analytics to enhance machine reliability, reduce downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.

 

Your contribution:

Project Leader role

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to gather data and insights on the current milling process and technology

- Prepare and present regular progress reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management

 

Industry 4.0

Research and assess emerging Industry 4.0 technologies relevant to manufacturing processes

- Collaborate with engineering teams and supplier to integrate IoT (Internet of Things) devices and sensors into milling machines for real-time data monitoring

- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to visualize performance metrics and present actionable insights to stakeholders

- Develop and deploy predictive analytics models to anticipate and prevent transport errors on milling machines

You will fit perfectly into our team if:

  • You are currently in a master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or IT Management
  • Ideally, you have a Supply Chain Management Certification (e.g. ASCM/APICS: CPIM) or a Project Management Certification (e.g. PMI-PMP or Agile Scrum Master)
  • You have a first practice of Project Manager / Leader activities
  • You have Project management and Lean Manufacturing practices appetency
  • You have skills in advanced data analytics and algorithmic
  • You speak fluently French and English 
  • You have a strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders
