We are a team of 6 creative inidviduals and are currently looking for our next colleague to complete our squad!
As a designer at Breitling, you will create high level watch designs that seamlessly blend aesthetics on the highest level with functionality, while embodying the brand’s visual DNA. You will independently manage multiple collections, following each project from initial concept to finalised prototype, ensuring alignment with horological standards, commercial timelines and a consistent design language across the range.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with several departments to ensure that the design intent is realised through every stage, while also supporting the growth of our junior designers and contribute to a culture of innovation, mutual support and craftsmanship.

Your contribution:
- You deliver high level watch designs that are both aesthetic and functional, reflecting and enhancing the brand's DNA
- You ensure that every detail (form, finishing, proportion) aligns with Breitling’s standards and the horological standards
- You maintain visual and strategic consistency across the brand’s product range
- You act as a key link between design, technical development, product development and product marketing
- You create high-level design concepts aligned with the brand’s identity and long-term strategy
- You deliver designs on schedule, within development cycles and commercial calendars
- You are able to follow up the whole design process independently from start to finish/lunch
- You use efficiently and in the highest quality all the design tools and share knowledge with the team
- You are responsible for learning and implementing specifications/schematics into the design
- You guide junior designers
Expected Deliverables in Year 1:
- You are able to create high quality Design solutions and variations from scratch in fast pace
- You are able to create technical drawings and solutions with Adobe Illustrator and Rhino 3D
- You are able to handle several collections with a clear design language
- You work independently and collaboratively across departments
- You develop a coherent design languages that reflects the brand DNA

You will fit well to our squad if:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in watch design or product/industrial design
- You are highly creative and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of design principles
- You are confident working in fast-paced, multicultural environments
- You are fluent in English (C2); French or German is a plus
- You are proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Rhino 3D
- You have a strong interest in horology and craftsmanship
- You are a collaborative team player who brings ideas and solutions to the table
- You enjoy mentoring and guiding junior talents
- You hold a degree in design, ideally product or industrial design
