You will play an essential role in opening a completely new chapter for "Le Couturier de la Montre" as we establish our global retail foundation in the prestigious city of Geneva.

The Leader We Seek

As the Grand Vendeur (f/m/x) of our Geneva flagship, you are the most senior sales presence on the floor, operating a step ahead in profile, leadership, and commercial impact. You will carry the Maison’s most critical client relationships, going far from the boutique to recruit ultra-high-net-worth collectors and hosting exclusive couture reveals. You are a master storyteller who translates the brand's heritage into high-value sales while mentoring the broader boutique team. Candidates must bring an established portfolio of high-value clients and a proven network within the luxury sector. A willingness to travel for exclusive events, client engagements, and industry gatherings is essential to cultivating and strengthening key relationships.


Your Craft:

UHNW Client Acquisition & Network Development

  • You will drive the acquisition of new ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) collectors by actively leveraging your local network and partnering with external business introducers.
  • You will also work off-site and proactively engage high-potential prospects in their own environment (homes, offices, private clubs).
  • You will act as a key ambassador at regional roadshows, private trunk shows, and international Maison events to capture fresh profiles for the brand.
  • You will analyze your portfolio regularly, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships with existing VVICs and strategically reactivate inactive clients.

 

High-Value Sales & The Couture Ceremony

  • You will focus intentionally on generating high-value turnover, specifically driving the sales of our most exclusive, rare, and capsule timepieces to your VIC/VVIC portfolio.
  • You will lead the selling ceremony end-to-end, hosting bespoke private appointments and couture reveals, delivering an unforgettable client experience.
  • You will build deep, lifelong loyalty through highly personalized outreach and exceptional treatment, keeping client discretion and privacy at the forefront.
  • You will manage client expectations with discretion and precision, ensuring each interaction reinforces the Maison’s exclusivity and heritage.

 

Boutique Presence & Operations

  • You will maintain the highest standard of professionalism and appearance on the boutique floor and set the tone for how the Maison conducts business.
  • You will collaborate with the Boutique Manager to mentor and share your expertise with the Client Advisor team on elevating the floor's overall approach to VIC service and closing techniques.
  • You will collaborate with the Boutique Manager on visual merchandising, display maintenance, and the organization of boutique materials and accessories.
  • You will respect and actively promote all security and cash-handling protocols to protect the Maison's assets.


What will make you successful:

  • You bring 6+ years of documented success in high-end sales, with a proven track record of managing and closing significant VIC and VVIC portfolios.
  • You have built or managed a substantial personal client book of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and demonstrated consistent ability to close complex, high-value transactions.
  • You possess a genuine, working knowledge of the luxury watch market, who the competitors are, what collectors value, and where the market is moving.
  • You are a skilled closer. You can read a client and bring high-ticket sales to completion without pressure or compromise.
  • You work independently and hold yourself accountable. You don't need supervision to execute. You set your own targets and hit them.
  • You understand that discretion is non-negotiable. Client relationships and Maison business remain completely confidential.
  • You are completely fluent in French and English. Additional languages are a genuine advantage in managing international collectors.
  • You are willing to travel to meet clients and attend key brand events and activations.
